There's a remarkable chapter in the history of this beautiful Palm Beach 50 Sedan. In 2024, she was delivered across the Pacific from Opua New Zealand to the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia by our Alexander Marine delivery crew on her own bottom! Need we need to say anything further about her blue water prowess and capabilities!!Her breathtaking Palm Beach lines capture the attention of boat enthusiasts wherever she cruises. Her wide teak laid swim platform features a single entry off the swim platform into the cockpit on the starboard side of the vessel. Entering her cockpit, it has been configured for entertaining with the single entry arrangement to the cockpit permitting a larger L-shaped cockpit seating arrangement across the transom, which can convert into a spacious day bed. At the front of the cockpit to port, you will find a sink, storage, Isotherm ice maker and to starboard are two Isotherm under bench side-by-side fridges to ensure guests are always well hydrated! In addition to her well-laid-out cockpit entertaining area, she features a portable Weber Pulse electric BBQ that can be stored away in the spacious lazarette accessed via four large deck hatches under the cockpit sole. The cockpit's saloon bulkhead boasts a high gloss teak finish with a centreline door leading to a signature Palm Beach saloon. Her interior layout is the popular galley-down configuration which permits a spacious saloon area dedicated to relaxed lounging space. Her spacious saloon basks in natural light which floods in through large windows on all four sides. Her portable interior dining table, equipped with a folding leaf, is positioned on the starboard side of the saloon immediately as you enter this space surrounded by a spacious L-shaped Ultraleather lounge. Opposite the dining area to port is an additional large Ultraleather lounge - this area is perfect for engaging in face-to-face conversations and from the lounges, you can relax while watching your favourite movies from the Hi/Lo Samsung 42" TV installed in front of the port lounge completed with a Samsung soundbar. The helm station is positioned to starboard and the captain and navigator share a spacious bench seat when underway. Everything is within easy reach for the captain. The Garmin navigation package includes GPS Plotter, Sounder, Radar and Autopilot. 'Malou' is equipped with Side-Power bow & stern thrusters for hassle free docking. Overhead the helm station, are two hatch windows providing excellent natural light and ventilation. Additionally, she features the signature Palm Beach electric side windows that assist with accessing the side decks. Stepping down two steps from the saloon level the galley to port features an Isotherm under bench fridge, Miele microwave, Blanco two element electric cooktop, Nespresso coffee machine and rubbish bin integrated into the benchtop to make sure you have everything you need to be a great host. In addition, the galley boasts an abundance of storage for non-perishables. Following the festivities, pop everything into the Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer while you sit back and enjoy the rest of the evening. Opposite the galley to starboard on the lower accommodation deck is the main head, featuring a tempered glass shower stall, signature Palm Beach teak flooring and satin teak toilet seat. 'Malou' is built as a single cabin guest accommodation layout. Her forward master cabin features a double island bed, including plenty of amenities. The cabin is furnished with a large teak framed porthole and overhead hatch that allows natural light and fresh sea breeze to flow through. Additionally, for added comfort, there is the luxurious alternative of air conditioning in the cabin as well as in the saloon. The master cabin also features a mirrored hanging wardrobe, and plenty of storage space. A Samsung 31" Frame TV complete with a Clarion Sound System is installed for the owner's entertainment. Furthermore, twin single pull-out beds in the saloon and the L-shaped cockpit settee slides out to become a cockpit day bed, offering extra sleeping arrangements for overnight stays. 'Malou' is powered by twin shaft drive Yanmar 6LY3's for simplicity and economy.
