If your plan is to spend substantial time aboard each year, and you want a yacht that can comfortably accommodate both family life and frequent entertaining, then the 100′ Hargrave Second Amendment deserves serious consideration.
She offers over 3,500 square feet of interior and exterior living space across the flybridge, main deck, and lower deck, and more importantly, that space is felt in all the right areas. There is excellent storage throughout, and a sense of volume that is difficult to find in comparable yachts.
Upon touring Second Amendment , most people immediately notice how much larger the key living areas feel when compared to many European designs in this class. The guest accommodations are more generous, the bathrooms more substantial, the main salon and dining spaces more open, and the upper deck especially well suited for entertaining. This is a yacht built for the way owners actually use their boats, and hosting 50 or more guests for cocktails is very much within her comfort zone.
She was also designed from inception with charter in mind, which is significant for buyers who value the flexibility of future charter use and the potential income and tax advantages that may come with it. That said, her current owners have kept her strictly for private use and have never placed her into charter.
Full Specifications
The tones throughout the boat are silvers, cool taupes with slate and dusty blues. The windows in the salon are huge and are 28” above the floor which allows you fabulous views outside from all vantage points. The other new feature is coffered style taupe ceiling beams with white lacquer recessed panels combined with upholstered white panels. The lighting fixtures used on this boat are all LED squares and rectangles. The rectangles are triple fixtures in polished chrome and are used over the important areas such as the dining table and main seating area.
There is a walk around white marble bar in the main salon with silver faux leather upholstery. There are (3) elegant bar chairs in embossed pearl snake suede, a service counter with clear ice and sink. On either side of the bar are large flat columns of upholstery on the port and starboard side that meet at the ceiling perimeter and tie into the coffered beams.
The upholstered pieces on the port side are all upholstered in a pale pewter ultra-suede; which is super plush, comfortable and extremely durable. There is a large sofa, a small sofa and a full size chaise lounge. They are flanked by (2) custom white marble side tables.
The dining salon wall forward has (2) floor to ceiling storage cabinets with gray glass doors with walnut frames. In between the cabinets is an upholstered panel wall that has the same design as the upholstered silver bar front which also is the entrance to the dog house storage area.

Day Head:
The vanity and floor border are in gray emperador marble. The sink is a crystal white marble as is the field of the floor and ½ of the walls. The remaining walls are papered in a hand screened silver palm leaf.

Galley:
The galley is a country kitchen style with a huge settee and large windows forward and port and starboard. The stone is white Macabus Quartzite which is a completely natural product that is tougher than granite and complements the SS appliances. The lighting in here as well as throughout the yacht is LED square fixtures.

Master Stateroom:
The foyer in front of the master stateroom is another Quartzite-Bianco Rhino. We just did a large slab and let the natural design of slab be the star. The Bianca is framed out in the Emperador Gray, just like the Day head. In the master stateroom we squared up the room and continued the cosmopolitan theme from the main deck. The headboard is the entire wall and is large tufted panels of pale gray faux leather. There are geometric metal sconces that coordinate with the throw pillows and add a bit of glamour. The windows have a sheer shade with silky fluid thread running through the face. The coordinating drapes are shimmery platinum and are black out for sleeping in late.

The convertible beds go from twin to queen with the easy lift of ½ a nightstand. The headboard wall is tufted just like the master but in different faux leather that looks like crushed pearl, so all rooms are elegant.

VIP Stateroom:
The VIP is another King stateroom. The headboard wall in this room is a series of rectangles tufted in a faux skin material. The closet space is abundant and the room spacious and airy. The head is all marble, huge and perfectly appointed. There is also a 6’ locked storage closet in this area for owner items when chartering or just extra gear.
